This policy explains how FITZ FIRE & SECURITY LTD (company number 14550121) ("we", "us") uses personal information collected through this website, by phone and by email. We are the data controller for this information.

What we collect

When you contact us we collect the details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, postcode and information about your property or enquiry. When you become a customer we also keep records of the systems we install and maintain, site details, keyholder contacts and invoices.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and provide quotes (legitimate interests and steps before entering a contract)
To install, maintain and support your systems (contract)
To meet our legal, accounting and accreditation obligations, including BAFE and SSAIB requirements (legal obligation)

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We share it only where needed to deliver our service, for example with alarm receiving centres for monitored systems, our IT and email providers, our accountants, and our accreditation body during audits.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Customer and system records are kept for as long as we look after your system and for up to 6 years afterwards for legal and insurance purposes.

Your rights
